The Institute of Innovation Research, Technology Management and Entrepreneurship (ITE) addresses issues related to the promotion of sustainable innovation in research and teaching. Based at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, we use the latest knowledge of science across disciplines and technologies to solve problems in business and society. We see the greatest potential at intersections, which is why we are particularly interested in looking at convergences at different levels: excellent knowledge, application, business field development and entrepreneurship.

Open lesson for the julia programming language gets featured in The Carpentries incubator spotlight

The currently julia-novice named lesson for teaching the julia programming language to newcomers was featured in The Carpentries incubator lesson spotlight. The open development of this lesson is led by Dr. Simon Christ who is also a certified The Carpentries instructor. It was also used as teaching material in the block-course Introduction to the julia programming language and open source development in the summer semester 2021 at LUH.
